Governance
As a registered Charity [number 1075617] we are overseen by the Board of Trustees, who are all Christian volunteers from local churches.
Our Treasurer
Our treasurer provides the Trustees with regular financial information and ensures the annual accounts are produced for the Charity Commission. Everyone is welcome to attend our AGM.
Funding
We have low running costs, employing only two part-time staff, our Manager and Assistant Manager, and using accommodation at Eastwood and Clarence Road Baptist Churches who ask for reasonable rent. Client fees contribute to our costs but we rely heavily on donations, Trust funds and grants to support us. We have a volunteer who spends a great deal of time seeking on going funding for us.
How You Can Help
- Volunteers who can offer time to help with publicity, fundraising efforts or reception duties are welcome.
- Donations may be made, adding gift aid if you are a Tax payer.
- New Trustees who bring fresh approaches and ideas. If this interests you, please contact the Chair of Trustees via our contact page.
